Ms. Ashley Roberts, Color Guard

Mr. Chris Adam, Trumpet Tech
Mr. Adam has been with the GVHS Band since 2006. He is the former band director at Ridley High School and currently teaches elementary band in the same district. He freelances as a professional trumpet player and performs with EBE Talent in Philadelphia. He also teaches lessons at his private studio.

Mr. Christian Ryan, Low Brass Tech
Christian has been the Low Brass Tech for the GVHS Band since 2019. He is studying Music Education at West Chester University and will be graduating in the Spring of 2021. He marches with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, and has previously marched with the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps.

Dr. Steve Selfridge, Director
Dr. Selfridge has been a band director in Garnet Valley School District since 2001, and became the high school band director in 2017. He also directs the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Bands.

Mr. Jeff VonDerStuck, Clarinet Tech
Mr. VonDerStuck has been teaching at GV since 2005 but started working with the Marching Band in 2002. He is the band director at Bethel Springs. His main instrument is the saxophone. Mr. VonDerStuck is also a GV Band alumni!

Mr. Jim Olson, Assistant Director
Mr. Olson is the band director at Garnet Valley Elementary School, and for many years was the director of Garnet Valley Middle School. He also plays trombone with the Newark Symphony Orchestra.
